CANNABIS
Medical cannabis comes from the therapeutic use of the Cannabis sativa plant, which has chemical compounds called “cannabinoids”. Among them are THC and CBD.

CBD
CBD is one of the two most important cannabinoid components of the cannabis plant, it acts on the central nervous system and is therefore psychoactive, but it does not have the psychotropic effects that THC. On the contrary, it antagonizes the effects it produces. Currently, CBD is recognized for more beneficial effects in the treatment of certain symptoms and diseases, and with a greater therapeutic margin.

THC
THC is the most important and abundant psychoactive component of the cannabis plant. Psychoactivity is the intended effect for adult or recreational use; but also for the treatment of some clinical conditions in which, for example, the alteration of proprioception, can be very useful in the treatment of pain. Similarly, memory impairment is beneficial in the treatment of post-traumatic stress syndrome.
